Since the age of starry-eyed ambition, business has been my jam. I found my first love in managing teams early in my career, captivated by the puzzle that makes businesses not just tick, but thrive. I adore diving deep into the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ of business success, discovering golden nuggets of opportunity even when the path seems barren.
The Journey Unfolds
At 19, I was handed the reins to the business I worked for as my boss prepared for motherhood. It was my trial by fire, and I emerged, exhilarated and enlightened. Fast-forward to my 20s, I was sailing the high seas on 6 and 7-star cruise liners. Designed for the world’s elite, these floating paradises were my MBA on the water. I mastered the art of leading powerhouse teams, smashing record-breaking targets, and, let’s just say, living the dream.
Entrepreneurial Evolution
Soon after, the Gold Coast and dry land was calling. I took over a 5-star Day Spa nestled in a luxury hotel, growing the team from a squad to an army. We didn’t just survive; we flourished, even when the economic tide wasn’t in our favor. But the siren song of new challenges beckoned, leading me to my dream gig—Business Development and Sales Manager for Loreal Australia. This is where my passion for sales metamorphosed into mastery, and where my flair for business scaling earned me accolades that whisked me away to exotic locales like Mexico, Las Vegas, and Bali.
